Terms & Privacy
The short version: TactVu is a free training game, and IBES is a tool that cuts your game film on your own device. Everything you save or edit, including player cards, photos and video, stays on your own device. We don't collect personal information to run it, we can't see or recover what is on your device, and nothing here replaces a coach, a doctor or common sense on the field or the court.
Terms of use
TactVu is operated by NoCard Club ("we", "us"). By opening, installing or playing TactVu, on the website or in an app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use TactVu. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree for you and is responsible for your use.
What TactVu is
TactVu offers training games for soccer, basketball, baseball, football and, in the future, other sports, plus a Daily Challenge, My Card, a player card built from what you play, and IBES (Intelligent Ball Eye System), a tool at ibes.tactvu.com that turns a wide game recording into a clip that follows the ball. They are for education and entertainment. They are not professional coaching, scouting, medical care, mental-health treatment or safety advice, and they don't replace the guidance of your coach, your club or a healthcare professional.
Playing on the field
Sports are physical. How you apply anything you practice in TactVu is your decision and your responsibility. Follow your coach, the rules of your league and your own judgment, and stop if something hurts. We are not responsible for injuries, losses or results on the field or the court.
Kids and families
TactVu is built to be safe for young players: no account, no chat, no in-app purchases, no advertising, and nothing is sent to us. A parent or guardian is responsible for a child's use of TactVu, including whether to add a photo to a card and whether to share a card with anyone. Mind Captain's breathing and reset exercises are general calming techniques, not treatment; if a child's frustration or anxiety is intense or frequent off the field too, talk with their pediatrician.
What you add to a card
Names, jersey numbers, positions, club or team names and photos that you put on a player card are yours and stay on your device; we never receive them. You are responsible for them. Only add a photo of a person with their permission, and a parent's or guardian's permission for a child. Only use a club or team name you are actually part of; a club name on a card is your own description, and no club, league, school or brand is affiliated with TactVu or endorses a card. Don't add anything unlawful, hateful or hurtful. We don't review cards, and we are not responsible for anything you add or share.
Sharing a card
When you share a card, your phone's own share sheet hands the pictures and text to the app or service you pick. From that moment the card is out of TactVu and in your hands: the other service's rules apply, we cannot take it back, and anyone who receives it can keep it, copy it or post it. Think before sharing a child's photo, name, number and club together, and decide for yourself who should get it.
Cards, editions, points and ratings
Editions, serial numbers, ratings, levels, badges, streaks and Card Points are game features for fun. They have no money value, cannot be bought, sold, traded or transferred, and do not measure a player's real ability or promise anything about their future. We may change how they are earned, named or shown, add or remove them, or reset them at any time, and a change may move a card up or down. No claim arises from that. TactVu player cards are a digital feature of this app; they are not collectibles, and TactVu is not affiliated with any trading-card company, league, team, club or players' association. Any names that resemble someone else's are coincidental, and other companies' names on this page belong to them.
Saving, backups and losing data
Everything you save lives only on your device: in your browser's storage on the website, and in the app's own storage in the apps. It can be lost at any time, for example if you clear browser data, delete the app, reset or replace your phone, run out of space, or if your browser decides to clear old site data. We have no copy and cannot recover anything for you. Save a backup is a convenience, not a promise: a backup file contains everything, including names and photos, so keep it somewhere private; loading a backup replaces what is on the device; and we make no guarantee that a backup will open on a future version of TactVu.
IBES and your game film
IBES runs in your browser on your own phone or computer: your video is read, analyzed and rendered on your device and is never uploaded to us. It is in beta. Tracking is automatic and will sometimes be wrong: the ball can be hidden by a player, the camera can move, and a clip can follow the wrong thing, frame it badly or cut a moment off. Check every clip before you share it. IBES is a convenience for making highlights, not a record of the game, and nothing it produces, what it follows, how it frames or what it leaves out, is a judgment about any player, team or official.
Your footage
Use IBES only with video you own or have the right to use, including any rights of the person who recorded it and the terms of the camera system it came from. Trace, Veo and other camera makers are separate companies with their own terms and privacy policies, and TactVu is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. You are responsible for the people in your footage: many leagues, clubs and schools have rules about filming and posting children; follow them, get permission where it is needed, and don't post a clip of someone who has asked not to be shown. We never see your footage, and we are not responsible for what you make with it or where you post it.
Keep your originals
IBES works on a copy of your video in your browser's memory and does not change your original file, but browsers can run out of memory, stall or crash on long or large videos, and an export can fail or come out wrong. Keep your original recordings, and treat every clip as something to check. We are not responsible for lost, damaged or unfinished files, or for time spent on a clip that did not export.
The player card in IBES
IBES has the same player card as TactVu: name, number, position, club or team and photo, plus the season stats you type in, and it can place the card at the start of a highlight for a few seconds. Everything on the card is yours and stays on your device. The rules above for what you add to a card and for sharing a card apply to the IBES card and to any video that shows it: a clip that opens with a child's name, number, club and photo tells everyone who sees it who they are, so decide who should get it. The edition codes shown on your TactVu card unlock the same edition on the IBES card; like editions themselves they are a game feature with no money value, and we may change how they are made or what they unlock at any time.
Battery and heat
Because IBES does all of its work on your device, it works the processor hard for a few minutes: the battery drains faster and the phone or computer gets warm, just as it does during a demanding game or a long 4K recording. That is normal, and the device's own protection slows it down if it gets too warm. Use IBES on a charged device, off the charger and out of direct sun, prefer a computer for longer clips, and stop if your device shows a temperature warning. We are not responsible for battery use, heat, slowdowns, a browser that reloads the page part-way, or any other effect on your device.
Beta, limits and pricing
IBES is free while it is in beta. We may limit free use, add paid features, change or remove features, change which sports and cameras are supported, or end the beta at any time, with or without notice. If we charge for anything, the price and payment terms will be shown before you pay, and any paid service will have its own terms in addition to these.
Our content
The games, artwork, card designs, patterns, text, logos, software and the TactVu and IBES names belong to NoCard Club or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial training, and you may share the card images TactVu makes for you for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your own footage, and the clips IBES makes from it, are yours; we claim no rights in them. Please don't copy, resell, rebrand or redistribute TactVu, or use the TactVu name or logo in a way that suggests we made, sponsor or endorse something we didn't, without written permission. The apps are also subject to the Apple App Store and Google Play terms that apply to them. For any other use, ask us first through nocardclub.com.
Fair use of the service
Don't interfere with or attempt to break TactVu, access it by automated means other than ordinary search engines, reverse engineer it, remove notices, or use it to harass, impersonate or deceive anyone. We may block access to anyone who does.
No warranty
TactVu is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, with all faults. To the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and that data will be saved or kept. We don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure or right for your situation, and we may change, pause or stop any game or feature at any time without notice.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NoCard Club, its owners, staff, contractors and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, video, clips or progress, injury, lost opportunity, battery use, heat or any other effect on a device, or harm arising from TactVu or IBES, from anything you add to them or share from them, or from any other app, website or service a card is shared to, even if we were told it was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for everything together is limited to the amount you paid us for TactVu in the twelve months before the claim, which for free use is zero, or if that limit is not allowed, to the smallest amount the law permits.
Your responsibility to us
You agree to defend and hold harmless NoCard Club and the people named above from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from anything you add to TactVu or IBES or share from them, including your footage and the people in it, from your use of them, or from your breaking these terms or the law.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, and within one year of when they arise; later claims are waived. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Privacy policy
We built TactVu to need as little information as possible. Here is exactly what happens with your data.
What we collect: nothing to play
There is no sign-up and no account. Scores, badges, streaks, settings and anything you type into a game are stored only on your device: in your browser's local storage on the website, and in the app's own storage in the apps. We cannot see that data, it is never sent to us, and we have no copy of it.
Player cards and photos
My Card lets you add a name, jersey number, position, club or team name and a photo for each sport, and keep several players on one device. All of it is stored only on that device. When you take or choose a photo, your phone's camera or photo library is used only to hand the picture to TactVu on your device; the photo is resized and cropped there and never uploaded, and we never see it. We do no face recognition, tagging or analysis of photos. Anyone who can unlock the device can see, switch between and edit the players on it, so the device's own lock is what protects them.
IBES and your video
The video you open in IBES stays on your device. Your browser decodes it, finds the ball and renders the clip, and the finished clip is saved by your browser or handed to your phone's share sheet. We never receive the video, the clip, any frame from it, or the tracking data. IBES keeps a few settings, such as the sport and zoom you chose, in your browser's local storage. Footage recorded by Trace, Veo or another camera system is governed by that company's policies until you download it; IBES only ever works with the file you choose to open. The IBES player card, its photo and its season stats are stored only on the device, like My Card on TactVu; a backup file you save holds all of it, so keep that file private.
Backups and your phone's own backup
Save backup creates a file on your device that contains everything TactVu has saved, including names and photos, and nothing is sent to us. Where you store or send that file is your choice, and the service you choose has its own policies. Your phone's own backup (for example iCloud or Google) may include TactVu's data along with your other apps and browser data, under Apple's or Google's policies, not ours.
Sharing a card
Sharing is something you do, not something we do. When you tap Share, your device's share sheet passes the card pictures and a line of text to the app or service you pick, under that service's privacy policy. The pictures show whatever you put on the card: name, number, position, club, photo and stats. We don't see what you share or whom you share it with.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to keep the site secure and running. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads, under Google's privacy policy. Apple and Google give us aggregate, anonymous store statistics about the apps (such as download counts and crash reports) under their own policies. We use no analytics cookies, advertising or trackers on the site or in the apps. If we ever add any, this policy will be updated first and will say what is collected.
Children's privacy
TactVu is made for families, and we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, online or in the apps. A child's name, photo, card and game film never leave the device unless a parent or guardian chooses to share them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Sharing by us
We have nothing of yours to sell, rent or share. The only data that touches our service providers is the technical data above, which they process to host the site, and we share it otherwise only when the law requires it.
Your choices and contact
To erase a player, open My Card, Edit card, then Delete this player. To erase everything, clear this site's data in your browser or delete the app. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Questions about these terms or your privacy: reach us through nocardclub.com.
